Order Cancellation or Returns

If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact me via e-mail or the website contact form within 24 hours of the submission of the order. No cancellations or customizations are allowed after 24 hours from the order submission. This policy ensures that my small business can remain sustainable. I want you to love and enjoy wearing any of my pieces. I welcome any feedback you may have. You may exchange or refund your piece within 7 days of your purchase. Please note that the product must be returned unworn and undamaged. Customized items cannot be returned. In case of refund, neither the original shipping cost nor the return shipping cost will be repaid. I want you to love and cherish your Claudia Berman Jewelry item so please contact me if you are disappointed in any way and I will do my best to remedy the issue.

Shipping and Delivery Time

Each piece is handmade by me in my SF studio, please allow up to 2 weeks after order is placed before shipping. If it might take longer I will get in touch immediately. If you'd like to rush the production or delivery, please contact me and I'll oblige when possible. I use USPS Priority mail with tracking and insurance. Claudia Berman Jewelry is not responsible for any delays caused by shipping carriers. If you are outside the US, please contact me for additional shipping details.

 

 

Repairs and Replacement

I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of my jewelry. Please contact me to request repair or replacement of an item, I'm happy to help if possible. Please note that a fee might be associated with the repair and shipping. Please be aware that since every item is uniquely one of a kind, it may not be possible to match a missing earring completely or recreate an exact item. I will do my best to make you a new piece of jewelry that is just as lovely as the one you originally purchased.

Sizing

Please make sure that your size is correct before ordering. In some circumstances I am able to adjust a ring size a little larger or smaller. If you have ordered an incorrect size I would be happy to make adjustments if possible, for a small fee, plus the cost shipping. Some rings, unfortunately, cannot be resized. Necklaces can easily be made longer or shorter, please just send me a note along with your order and I can adjust your item and price accordingly.

Jewelry Care

Oxidized silver jewelry has a patina to darken it which may fade over time with wear, depending on the wearer. To slow down this process, do not wear jewelry while swimming, sweating, or bathing. Oxidation will last a very long time if it is in deep crevasses within the texture, only the high points of the piece and edges will show lighter silver, the contrast is often more beautiful than solid black. However, I am happy to re-patina any piece you have bought from me at any time, for free.

I am also happy to reshape any items that may have bent or been stepped on, accidents happen. Please send me the item and I'll do my best reshape it and clean it up. I can also re-polish items that have lost their luster. Please send me a note in advance.

To polish your jewelry use a soft bristled toothbrush and mild soap with water.
